The "O'zbekkino" National Agency organized Days of National Cinema across the country within the framework of Year of the Youth. The event basically aimed to familiarize Uzbek (Uzbekistan Visa) citizens with last achievements and novelties of Uzbek (Uzbekistan Visa) cinematography. "We have organized Days of National Cinema for many years already," said Shuhrat Tursunov, head of marketing and management department of "O'zbekkino". "If last year the Days of National Cinema took place in Bukhara, Samarkand and Ferghana, this year we plan to hold them across Uzbekistan. It is remarkable that their participants are growing in number." Over 60 actors and film directors participated in the Days of National Cinema such popular cinematographers as Shuhrat Abbasov, Yodgor Sagdiev and Hairulla Lutfullaev. Young actors Ulugbek Kodirov, Gulchehra Eshonkulova and other met with admirers of Uzbek (Uzbekistan Visa) cinematography in regions of the republic. Educational institutions, companies and cinemas of regions showed the best Uzbek (Uzbekistan Visa) films. The audience had a wonderful opportunity to see films awarded various international festivals. In addition, the event's program included documentaries and popular science films such as E. Tuichiev's "Spring", A. Shahobiddinov's "Yurt" and "Idiot", S. Nazarmuhamedov's "Coast of Nostalgia", H. Hasanov's "Horseman" and B. Adilov's "Zabarjad" and such documentaries as "Plantlets of Hope", "Karshi 2007" and "Shurtangazkimyo" and such cartoons as "From Fairy to Fairy", "Beat, Bludgeon!" and "Sumalak and Thousand Hopes". "I am much pleased with such an event," says Kamila Chanysheva from Tashkent (Uzbekistan Tours) region. "In recent years Uzbek (Uzbekistan Visa) film makers have produced many fine films and sometimes we have no opportunity to come to Tashkent (Uzbekistan Tours) for a premiere. I was keen to see A. Shahobiddinov's "Yurt" and here my dream came true." The Days of National Cinema took place in Ferghana valley, Kashkadarya, Tashkent (Uzbekistan Tours) and Syrdarya regions. Recently representatives of Uzbek (Uzbekistan Visa) cinematography have been to many districts of Namangan region where they had meetings with spectators.
