Tajikistan Visa

Tajikistan is one of the ancient countries of the world.

It is known to have the oldest of history and culture. The people of Tajikistan are known to respect the cross cultural relations from the ancient times. They have been known for doing trade and business with people of other countries and have also adopted many good things from other cultures. The unique history and culture of this place is making it a very famous tourist spot. Many people visit this place to learn more about its history. There are many old monuments and other places that are of interest to tourists. As like any other country the rule and regulations of Tajikistan also require tourist to have a valid visa before entering the territory of Tajikistan.

It is a very simple procedure that needs to be followed for availing a Visa support. Like the process of its neighboring countries, in Tajikistan also one needs to have invitation letter from a local person or a local organization. This organization can either be a business organization or can also be an authorized travel agency. The process of getting a Tajikistan Visa can start only when this letter gets approved by the Ministry of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan Visa can be applied by one of the many Tajikistan embassy offices situated in different countries all over the world. When the letter of invitation gets approved, the embassy of the country whose national has been invited is informed and only then the visa filing process starts. For nationals of some particular countries, Tajikistan Visa can also be granted on the arrival of these guests at Dushanbe. Such a visa can only be of forty five days and not more. The process of gaining a visa generally takes a time period of fifteen working days. There are some countries which have a simplified visa process and in their case the visa can be obtained within a time period of three working days. The total fee for a Tajikistan Visa is around twenty five US dollar.

There are many checkpoints that have been identified as entry points for international people. One must be careful of these checkpoints. There are many other rules and regulations of this country that must be followed in order to avoid any legal trouble. If a tourist is going to stay there for a time period of more than three days then it is mandatory to get one self registered with some authorized body. Some of the hotels are also authorized to get their guests registered.

Travelers who will be travelling along with children need to be extra cautious. There are certain things that must be kept in mind while travelling with children. The first thing is that all children above the age of six should have a photograph in their passports. Second is that all the children who are below the age of fourteen will get themselves registered on their parents passports. Another very important thing to be kept in mind is that in case a minor is travelling with only one parent then there should be a consent letter from the other parent that the child is allowed to travel with one parent. If any minor is travelling alone then a consent letter from both the parents will be required to be submitted with concerned authority. In case there is only one parent of the child then that parent will have to produce certain number of documents to authorized bodies. These documents may include a death certificate of the other parent, certificate of being a single mother, courts decision of the other parent being at some unknown location or any other such document that can prove the custody of one parent over the child as legal.
