Uzbekistan VisaGet Uzbekistan visa and experience the wonderful landUzbekistan is an upcoming destination. Many people who would like to get a taste of the Central Asian history visit Uzbekistan for its exotic cultures and cuisines. The travel and tourism is developing at a very fast rate in this country. The government has invested a lot in the past few years to bring this country to match the levels with other countries of the world. There are many good high class hotels and the historic places and monuments which contribute to the rich heritage which are also well maintained. The overall infrastructure is far better now from what it was a few years back. The travel services are also up to the mark. There are many airbuses that have been added to the country’s fleet in order to carry the international passengers. The only problem that a traveler might come across is in gaining the Uzbekistan Visa. The procedure for obtaining an Uzbekistan Visa is a little stringent and time consuming. The cost of filing a tourist visa is one hundred and thirty one US dollars and the process takes around ten days. In case one wishes to get the visa within five days then the cost of the visa filing procedure increases to one hundred and ninety seven US dollars. Each and every traveler no matter what mode of transport has the traveler used must have an Uzbekistan Visa. No traveler is allowed entry inside the country without the visa. An Uzbekistan Visa can be obtained from an Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in a foreign country. It might also happen that some travelers are not able to locate these offices in their countries because some countries do not have these offices. In such a case the visa can be obtained when a traveler reaches the airport at Tashkent. Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan. In addition to an Uzbekistan Visa one would also require a Letter of Invitation from any local association or from any local resident of Uzbekistan in order to gain entry inside the country. There are different types of visas that are granted. The Entry, Entry-Exit and Transit visas can be granted by the consular officers also but the Multi-entry visa for duration of around one year is granted only by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There are many other strict rules also that must be followed. A person in addition to the LOI should also submit a copy of the passport and a certificate of employment. The tourists who plan to stay there for only a few days also have to submit a certificate of employment saying that the person is working with some firm on a particular position. The certificate should be preferably written in English and should be short and precise. The visa can be refused to even those who have been called by a local resident in case the MFA finds something dubious in the personal information of the guest; however such a case is very rare. When a calling party gets the information that their request to call a guest has been approved by the MFA only then they are able to send the LOI to the guest. The MFA then informs the Embassy or the Consulate in that country where the guest resides. There is a unique reference number that is issued to every calling party. This number must be placed on the LOI. The travel agencies can send this reference number along with the travel voucher. It is only after the guest or the intended tourist receives this reference number that he applies for an Uzbekistan Visa from his or her country.
