The "Art of Silk Road" keeps maintaining a remarkable tradition of contributing to a multifaceted development of Kyrgyz arts and national craft. A rich schedule of events is conducted under the aegis of the non-profit foundation. The events of Art of Silk Road Festival, which started in Kyrgyzstan embrace:
- International fair of artisans' and applied arts masters
- International fine arts contest-exhibition
- Presentation of Festival's book "Art of Silk Road". The pages of the memorable book will display artists' and artisans' autobiographies, photographs of works, and contact information. Authors from seven countries will be included in the published book
- Monument "Tunduk" (1.5 meters high) will be unveiled as a symbol of the sun and national emblem of Kyrgyzstan
- Brief Kyrgyz Republic Constitution edition will be issued in the form of a poster
- The Historical Museum will host the regional exhibition of Kyrgyz Statehood historical documents and materials
Revelation of premier objectives will follow approximately 50-60 artists and artisans will be participants of the festival. Seven countries are to present their nationally recognized talents: Iran, Spain, France, Germany, USA, Kyrgyzstan, Canada, and Japan. The mixture of original arts and authors accelerates the international exchange of ideas.
