The Great Silk Road Garden was opened in the Tashkent Caravanserai of Culture. Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan, and foreign scientists participated in the event. After the opening ceremony a concert of traditional Japanese music was performed by musicians Tokumaru Yuji, Masibuti Yoko and Jinitro. As reported earlier, the Caravanserai of culture was opened at the initiative of famous public figure, artist and scientist Ikuo Hirayama-san, rector of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
